RavenCo Screen Printing was born in September
of 1997, but conceived years ago when co-founder Richard was a college
student at Rochester Institute of Technology as a printing major.
After college Richard had found work in several
fields until eventually he became employed at Bodek & Rhodes. Over
the course of six years at B&R Richard learned about the industry
from the other side of the marketplace.
Karen started at B&R a year after she
met Richard, and spent over three years there. The two had made
plans about their future together which included marriage, and the creation
of this company.
They set out from the beginning to provide
quality work. They wanted to give their customer a feel of confidence,
knowing that the job would be done right and in a timely fashion.
RavenCo uses a Hopkins 6 color/4 station
manual press. RavenCo also uses an A&M exposure unit, M&R Maxi-Cure
Dryer, a BBC Black Flash flash cure unit, a Windy City washout booth,
National Equipment's drying cabinet and heat press. RavenCo also uses
only the best Wilflex and Naz/Dar inks.
